Chapter 65

Into the Flames of Dusk

Drawing a circle around this black life,

a soul bleeding from memories of shards.

Broken words tossed into a toilet of dreams,

burning my tongue in an amber fire.

Becoming a hideous creature that breathes poison,

murky voice whispering vain words of displeasure.

Freezing catacomb to find salvation in,

Chained to a crumbled wall of hatred.

Flying into a vortex of onyx flames,

empowered with a desperate passion to burn to death.

Soured tears fall triumphantly to a hungry floor,

Razor blade burns on my throat allows the wine to pour.
