Chapter 43

Exclamation of Calamity

Lying in a pool of glass,

faded smile on my face.

Nails pin me to the iron cross,

drips of water clean these infectious wounds.

Drifting in space away from everything,

worn down from the frigid sphere of torment.

Having a bitter distaste for the general affairs of a dead world.

Can I be delivered from this hell?

Spin my mind in a clockwise direction;

vertigo is sweet liquor.

Open my palms to hell’s branding,

“darkness has become my heaven”.

Make me beautiful to dead angels,

demons bow before my wicked heart.

Is this the finale of love?

Shouting in a void for someone to care,

feeling wrapped around humanity.

I cannot guarantee safety for mankind.

Steel beams are my bones,

blind in an accident as I traveled home.

Seething hate kills the skyscraper,

broken wallet to an alcoholic suicide.

Never going to see the world get off its knees,

drinking the years away.

Walking down my nightmare highway for nothing,

kissing my faith goodbye tonight.

Will I be saved in the end?
